I read where Obama says his plan is working as planned.
Well if it is, he planned on 467,000 of you to lose your jobs.
He planned on the unemployment rate to hit record highs.
4 Weeks in a row, stocks fell due to the slow pace of the 'recovery'
467,000 people lost their jobs in June. Just in June. Not all year, just June.
The last time the unemployment rate was this high, Obama was too young to buy beer.
His approval rating dropped 13% from May to June.
His vindication or reasons he is able to claim everything is doing well, is an increase in government employment.
Government employment is up. More people have signed on to be government workers.
Unless I am mistaken, it is the private sector that deals with the reality of sink or swim that has always been the mainstay of productivity, and growth in this country.
Between the private sector, and the government workers, isn't the private sector the only one that has to deal with the possibility of failure?
Am I wrong? Have things changed overnight? Government workers have always been a joke when it comes to being productive.
Eric Cantor R. Virginia said the stimulus bill was "Full of pork barrel spending, government waste and massive borrowing".
"The plain truth is that President Obama's economic decisions have not produced jobs, have not produced prosperity, and have not worked,"
I think he is right.
Handing out do-nothing, non production orientated jobs to people who voted for Obama, is not what I would call doing much in the direction of helping out this economy. Not only that, but it might actually hurt the people who got those jobs, because it may give them the impression, that they are doing something about helping the economy, to when the truth becomes blatantly clear that they are nothing more than political tokens to help validate Obama's claims it will further damage, their already low self esteem.
Obama said his plan was to get people spending again:
"was designed to spur demand and get people spending again and cushion those who had borne the brunt of the crisis,".
Uh, is Barry under the impression, that some have not been affected by this recession, and they are the ones who are able, and who should,by decree of Obama, to go out and spend?
Who are these people, who have not been affected and are obligated to "cushion those who had borne the brunt"?
And what does that mean? "cushion the brunt"? Is that just another way of saying 'spread the wealth around'?
I think it would be a good thing, for him to take another look at how many people lost their job in June, and then tell them to go buy something.
Mr. Obama is indeed a foolish, foolish man.
Ps, Did you get a chance, to check out his wife's$6,000.00 purse?
