There is something that the press simply has not asked in regards to Afghanistan.
Reports from those men in charge of the efforts in Afghanistan, have told congress, and the president, that our efforts there are in danger of failure, if we do not send in more resources.
Hillary Clinton, has said she doubts that the information she has gotten is creditable, or at least, isn't to be believed.
Obama isn't all that concerned about addressing the request for more men, and is dragging his feet.
Here is the question:
Is there anyone in Washington D.C. that understands, that when a commander asks for more resources, that the primary reason he is doing so, is because the men he has been given charge over, are in danger?
Doesn't Obama understand that if the guys in charge over there, say that we need more men and resources, then we need more men and resources?
Without the additional manpower, isn't Obama asking them to do more, with less?
I can understand that concept with domestic issues, but over there, in a combat situation, isn't that morally irresponsible?
To ask them to do more with less is increasing the danger to them. It is exposing them by the use of an unnecessary political gambit to increased danger of being killed.
I read this morning that yesterday, 5 of our soldiers were killed yesterday in Afghanistan.
I wonder if any of them could have been saved if Obama had done as he was told, and sent over backup?
I wonder if any of them had read where Hillary said she does not believe the reports, that more manpower is needed.
I wonder how the men and women over there feel about how D.C. is covering their backs.
Doesn't the press realize that by not asking this type of question, that by not lighting a fire under the butts of our political leaders and making them aware that the people of the U.S. are asking, and demanding these issues be addressed and acted on, that more of our kids will be dying for the sake of complacency toward our token community organizers' inept efforts to do that which he thinks is best for our troops?
By not asking, and demanding answers to these type of life and death questions, I feel that the MSM, is partially responsible, and actually culpable for any harm that has occurred or will occur to our troops, by their unwillingness to ask the uncomfortable, politically incorrect, socially verboten, responsible questions.
