In the private sector, it would go under, close its doors, and make room for the more efficient competitor.
True, people would lose their jobs, but, the service would improve, and people would be getting more for their money than with the bankrupt company.
It is called capitalism. I have said it before, failure is an acceptable, and necessary part of capitalism. It guarantees quality, and productivity.
The agency I am referring to is the Postal Service. How many years has it been around? How many years has it had, to get it done right?
It never will because the workers have no drive. No sense of 'sink or swim', no 'starvation factor'.
They have the idea that they do not have to produce, more than they earn, in order for everything to work as it should. No government agency does. Never has, never will.
Not unless it is government run health care. Then that will be different. That will work. That will be the one agency that lives up to the hype.
